Rashika Verma is a fourth-year medical student at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School pursuing a distinction in Medical Education. She is a student director of the NJMS Student Sight Savers Program, an ophthalmology interest group that participates in free community eye screenings, research and mentoring. Rashika is especially interested in new developments in ophthalmic education, neuro-ophthalmology, and applications of AI in healthcare. Outside of medicine, Rashika enjoys reading, ice-skating, and wine tasting.
