Hannah, a third-year medical student at the University of Miami, earned her B.S. from Yale University. Her senior thesis delved into the cellular and synaptic mechanisms within the mouse retina. She is passionately drawn to pediatric ophthalmology, oculoplastics, vision screening, and medical education. Currently, she is engaged in research at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, focusing on disparities in access to pediatric ophthalmology and thyroid eye disease. Beyond her academic pursuits, she finds joy in teaching and aspires to continue her involvement in medical education throughout her career.
